Bhramara-guha
Bhramara-guha
भ्रमरगुहा, bhramaraguhā
"bee cave"
Bhramara-guha (Sanskrit), or bhramara-gufa (Hindi गुफा — "cave") — one of the chakras, located in the head area below the sahasrara chakra, in the occipital part closer to the center of the head. It also bears the name of bindu-sthana, that is the place of bindu. The life force is represented there in the form of a red bee, its contemplation helps to find bindu-stambhana.
It is also called "A-lekha" or "A-lakshya" — incomprehensible. When focusing on it, the movement of prana and mind (manas) ceases. This area of the head is used for concentration in the practice of nadanusandhana.
