Recite asana-laganeka mantra and sit on the asana. Asana should be in the form of bedding of thick fabric, you can also put a mat under it. It is advisable to sit facing east or north. If one regularly recites the mantra facing east – vashikarana siddhis will be developed (the ability to influence, control); if facing south – one acquires the powers of witchcraft; reciting facing west brings wealth; reciting facing north brings tranquility of mind and promotes moksha.
(mantra for asana)

Greetings to Supreme Being, Adesh! Adesh to Guruji! Greetings to Guruji, the truth of heaven and earth, the truth of the prayer-beads and japa, of asana the truth. Greetings to asana, where yogis and avadhutas sit. Greetings to asana of Brahma, Indra, asana of Hari Govinda; asana as a place of recitation of japa, as a great cessation of the processes of birth and sin. Greetings to asana of the "tiger's" seat and "the presence of the Himalayas’ shadow". Presence of the five elements on the asana, perceived from Sadguru. By the main mantra recited over asana, a yogi conquers hell Naraka. By reciting the mantra over asana, a yogi attains the abode of immortality. Glory to Nath and Guruji, Adesh! Adesh!
Having recited the asana-mantra, honor Ganesha by a mantra received from the Guru, or one can also recite a short mantra once, thus welcoming Ganapati.
sat namo ādeś | gurujī ko ādeś | om ġurujī | om vakra tuṇḍāya vidmahe ekadantāya dhīmahi tanno gaṇeśāya pracodayāt | om gaṁ gaṁ gaṇapatie namo ādeś | śrī nāthajī gurujī ko āadeś |
To Supreme Being Adesh! To Guruji Adesh! Greetings to Guruji. Om. Let us meditate on Ganapati, who is Vakratunda (the Lord with the curved trunk). May that Ekadanta (the Lord who has only one tusk) inspire and illumine our mind and understanding. Glory to Nath and Guruji, Adesh! Adesh!
After reciting ganesha-gayatri, one should recite goraksha-gayatri (shabar-mantra) one time.
sat namo ādeś | guru jī ko ādeś | oṁ guru jī | alakh nirañjan kaun svarupī boliye | alakh niranjan jyoti svarupī boliye | omakāre śivarupī sankhyā ne sādhurupī madhyāhe hams rupī hams paramahams do akṣar guru to gorakṣ kāyā to gāyatrī oṁ brahmāsohaṁ śakti-śunya mātā avigat pitā abhaya panth acal padavī niranjan gotr vihangam jāti asankhya pravar anant śākhā sūkṣm ved ātmajñānī brahmajñānī śrī oṁ goṁ gorakṣanāthāya vidmahe-śūnya putrāya dhīmahī tanno-gorakṣ niranjan pracodayāt etā gorakṣ gāyatrī jāp sampūrṇ bhayā | śrī nātha jī gurujī ko ādeś | ādeś |
To Supreme Being Adesh! To Guruji Adesh! I salute Guruji, Who is spotless, invisible, Who is known as a form of light, the shape of Omkara - an infinite form of Supreme aim, form of the center of "Hamsa", the form of Supreme Consciousness – ‘I am He’, the Guru as the two syllables (so-ham), the Guru, Who is Gayatri in bodily shape of Goraksha. Glory to Brahman in the form of ‘so-ham’, to Mother – Power (Shakti) of Shunya (Void), to Eternal Father - the Creator, to the fearless path, unchanging direction, to the purest genus, the bird of the highest gotra (Hamsa - swan), sitting on endless, thin branches of the Vedas, where there is Atma-jnana and Brahma-jnana. Om gom, may we comprehend Gorakshanath, the son of the Void, meditating on Him, may we be inspired by the spotless Goraksha! Glory to Nath and Guruji, Adesh! Adesh!
After that recite the Guru Gorakshanatha Mantra itself on beads, do at least one mala (108 recitations). The Mantra is “Om Shiva Goraksha Yogi”.
