Laya-yoga samadhi

लययोग-समाधि, layayoga-samādhi

Laya-yoga samadhi is a type of samadhi attained through laya-yoga, the yoga of dissolution.

“Gheranda-samhita” says:

7.12. Having performed Yoni-mudra, imagine that you are Shakti and that Paramatman is Purusha. These two unite. Thus you become full of bliss and attain Aham Brahma Asmi (I am Brahman).

7.13. This leads to Samadhi of non-duality (Advaita).
