Supreme Divine Power, the original energy of Shiva. Parashakti is pure consciousness, a substrate or primary substance flowing through all forms. This is the incomprehensible presence of Shiva, the original foundation and being of all things, without which nothing can go on. Parashakti is described as Sat-chit-ananda, light, silence, Divine consciousness, Superconsciousness, etc.
