Samana-vayu
Samana-vayu
समान-वायु, samāna-vāyu
One of the main vayu in the human body.
The area of samana-vayu activity spreads from the heart to the inguen, in other words in the digestive tract. It governs the activity of the liver, stomach, pancreas, spleen, duodenum and the large and small intestines.
It provides the body with nutrients and supports vital functions. All types of liquids and nutrients in the body are produced, distributed and regulated with the help of samana.
