• Devata – the Mantra Deity
• Bija – the seed syllable of the mantra
• Shakti of mantra
• Kilaka (not always present)
• Fruit of the realization of the mantra (the results of the mantra-sadhana) or the scope of application.

It is believed that without knowing viniyoga, mantra-sadhana will not bring the desired results.
