The Nātha Tradition Through Time: A Historical and Cultural Perspective
Guru Yogi Matsiendranatkh will conduct a 6-day online seminar from March 10 to 15, 2025, organised by Nath Sabha International Pty. Ltd.

Day 1• 08:00 – 09:30 — Yoga and Meditation Practice
• 10:30 – 12:00 — Lecture: History of the Nātha Tradition
• 14:00 – 15:30 — Breathing Practice (prāṇāyāma)
• 17:00 – 18:30 — Lecture: The Nine Nāthas – Who are they? Their Stories.
Day 2
• 08:00 – 09:30 — Yoga and Meditation Practice
• 10:30 – 12:00 — Lecture: Main texts of the Nātha Tradition
• 14:00 – 15:30 — Breathing Practice (prāṇāyāma)
• 17:00 – 18:30 — Lecture: The Gorakṣa-śataka – The Hundred Verses of Gorakṣa and Gorakṣa-paddhati (general presentation).
Day 3
• 08:00 – 09:30 — Yoga and Meditation Practice
• 10:30 – 12:00 — Lecture: The Siddha-siddhānta-paddhati, attributed to Gorakṣanātha (general presentation), with a special focus on the Second Chapter, Piṇḍa-vicāra (the Examination of the Body)
• 14:00 – 15:30 — Breathing Practice (prāṇāyāma)
• 17:00 – 18:30 — Lecture: The Subtle Body of the Yogin in the Description of the Six Cakras by Pūrṇānanda Swami
Day 4
• 08:00 – 09:30 — Yoga and Meditation Practice
• 10:30 – 12:00 — Lecture: The Ten Mahāvidyā-s – aspects of the Goddess
• 14:00 – 15:30 — Breathing Practice (prāṇāyāma)
• 17:00 – 18:30 — Lecture: The Ten Mahāvidyā-s (continuation)
Day 5
• 08:00 – 09:30 — Yoga practice and meditation
• 10:30 – 12:00 — Lecture: The texts of Haṭha-yoga, from Amṛta-siddhi to Haṭharatnāvalī
• 14:00 – 15:30 — Breathing practice (prāṇāyāma)
• 17:00 – 18:30 — Prajāpati-Brahmā, temples and cult, why it is not a tantric cult? Which Purāṇas are consecrated to Brahmā?
Day 6
• 08:00 – 09:30 — Yoga practice and meditation
• 10:30 – 12:00 — Construction of the Gorakṣanātha yantra
• 14:00 – 15:30 — Renewal of the ritual, principles of pūjā, private and public
• 17:00 – 18:30 — Questions and answers, feedback.
