I praise Sri Adinath, Guru Shiva, who is in the space of bliss! I praise Satyanath, Brahma, and Santoshanath the destroyer of Danu clan! Special honors to the one called Achala, Ganapati Kanthari along with [his shakti] Siddhi! I praise Chauranginath, Chandra, Mina and Gorakshanath, images of Hari and Hara! One who is Adinath, the Lord, the ocean of primordial knowledge, the great Spirit enjoying in His Essence, the blessed master of all teachers, by his grace he appears in the world in various forms.
I bow down to the lotus feet of Matsyendranath, the force of Kama. He, transcendental to all bhavas, resides in yantra-cakra with Kamala and Sarasvati.
I always bow before the Lord, who is in the form of Goraksha, who stays on earth for the protection of his flock (go), hidden in a cave on the Goraksha hill, [bow before] Gorakshanath!
I bow before the child-Goraksha, the protector of the Gurus and disciples, who is decorated with a garland of snakes and a crescent moon, I bow before Him, who is Kala for Kala (transcending time), before the conqueror of rebirth, who has matted hair, who obtains the whole world is in the lotus of the navel.
Like a mountain cave for lions, like lake Manasa for swans, like a moon for kairavini-kula (pond with water lilies), like a blue lotus for bees, like wealth for a cuckoo.
Like a heavenly grove for the lords of pleasure, like wealth for those who desire it, like the sun for the lotus, like Svati for the shakti-kula, like water for the jhasha-kula (desert), and like clouds for the peacock.
Like a gentle melody for the sarang players, like the flame of a lamp for a moth, like a refuge for the unfortunate, like a fruit tree for birds, like a mother for a child.
Like camphor for those freezing in the mountain snow, like moonlight for the chakora bird, O Goraksha, so are your feet for the masters-yogis, who constantly meditate on them.
The energy (kalA) of Goraksha, embracing and permeating everything, manifested in the cleansing fire of the parts of yoga, power in the manifested and unmanifest, bestowing all that is desirable to the heart, the eternal blessing of the worlds, the water of the ocean of mercy, pure distinction, giving liberation to the righteous, enchanting like moonlight lotus [yoni] that gives birth to all, grant me kaivalya!
In this temple, the doors of which are overgrown, the worship of the nine Nathas with their nine Shaktis is constantly performed, so Shiva is invoked.
