Devi

The goddess, God Shiva’s wife, has several hypostases (Kālī, Durgā, Pārvatī, etc.)

As the mistress of Māyā, She is known as Maha-māyā. She is avidyā (ignorance) because She binds, and She is vidyā (knowledge) and therefore liberates and destroys saṃsāra.

Devi-bhagavatam
One of the main Shakti Puranas, contains 18,000 shlokas. Also known as “Srimad Devi Bhagavatam” or simply “Devi Bhagavatam”. In most lists it appears as Upapurana, but in some as Mahapurana. The text reveres Mahadevī as a non-dual Shakti, the basis of the universe. The creation is attributed to the period of the 9th-14th century A.D. Devi-mahatmyam

"The Greatness of Goddess", "The Glorification of Devi". Another name is "Durga-saptashati" or "Sri Sri Chandi".

The most important and sacred text of Shaktism, plays a central role in the ritual practices of this tradition. It tells about the battle of the Goddess with asuras under the leadership of the buffalo-headed demon Mahishasura.
