Adya-pinda

आद्य-पिण्ड, ādya-piṇḍa

One of the levels of manifestation within the eternal transcendental body of Absolute Spirit, Para-Pinda. It is characterized by supreme bliss, awakening of consciousness and experience of the state of identity "He is I", in which Shiva experiences the Universe manifesting from Him as Himself. At its core, adya-pinda is the level of Maha-Prakriti or Maha-tattva, the great nature of everything that exists, from which Maha-bhutas, the five primary elements that make up Maha-sakara-pinda, then appear.
