Santosha

संतोष, saṃtoṣa

contentment with what you have at the moment

Santosha is satisfaction with everything obtained in the natural course of events and voluntary refusal to impose any kind of penalties on what is happening. This rule involves maintaining vivacity and calm in any situation. The mind is freed from ambition, desire for earthly things and envy towards those who enjoy such things. However, contentment with moral and spiritual achievements should not be present. Constant determination, along with perseverance, should contribute to continuous progress.
