आधिभौतिक, ādhibhautika

The word itself means something physical, material, associated with the elements. One of the three categories of mundane suffering (duhkha). This is suffering or harm caused by other living beings, for example, other people, animals, insects, etc. External factors such as thorns and other sharp objects, etc. can also be included in this category.

The other two categories of suffering are adhyatmika and adhidaivika.
