Tattva-akasha

Tattva-akasha

तत्त्वाकाश, tattvākāśa

Tattva-akasha is an akasha in which the inner essence (tattva) of oneself and the world is known.

In the practice of tattva-akasha meditation, one should imagine how, within the light of consciousness, the essences (tattvas) of all elements of creation appear and dissolve one by one. You can visualize the geometric symbols of each element – how they arise and dissolve. For example, imagine a square of yellow color arising from bindu (dot) of yellow color, increase it to the largest possible size, and then dissolve it in a yellow bindu. Then do the same with other symbols – with a white crescent and a white bindu, with a red triangle and a red bindu, with a smoky six-pointed star, with a blue circle. The essences of all elements, dissolved in a bright iridescent light, must be tried to be realized as the source of all manifestation, inseparable from all Being. The experience of this akasha is a state of indivisibility of oneself and all forms of Being.
