Dhananjaya-vayu
Dhananjaya-vayu
धनञ्जय-वायु, dhanañjaya-vāyu, or धनंजय-वायु, dhanaṃjaya-vāyu
Dhananjaya is one of the secondary pranas (vayu) that permeates the whole body and participates in cellular nutrition.
"Jnana-Sankalini Tantra" (72) explains that dhananjaya is located in sound and noise, and also resides in the body during rest and remains there even after death. "Gheranda-samhita" (5.65) adds that dhananjaya generates speech. "Shandilya Upanishad" (15) says that this prana causes the generation of sputum.Among the main pranas, dhananjaya is associated with vyana.
