Akhandanatha

अखण्डनाथ, akhaṇḍanātha

"Akhanda" is translated as "limitless", "whole", "not fragmented"; and "natha" or "nath" is one of Shiva’s names, and often indicates a siddha-yogi who follows Nathas’ teaching.

In one of Nathas’ texts – "Goraksha Upanishad" – the name of Akhandanatha as an ever-present and imperishable state is associated with the path of yoga and consciousness:

Two paths were revealed in the world – Kula and Akula. The path of Kula is the path of Shakti, the path of Akula is the path of consciousness (chaitanya), Akhandanatha. In the world they are called tantra and yoga.
